The Rotation, created by “Blockchain Burnouts”, is an avenue to allow prominent creators and collectors to speak their mind, however they choose, on both the space and a specific project as well. Many speakers from“The Rotation” are project leads and are able to take this time to share the projects vision with you all through their own point of view as creators.
For Vol. 2 of “The Rotation”, we wanted to shed light on a project paving the way for women involvement in the CNFT space, Blockchain Burnouts is so happy to welcome Cardano Women!!
MoodyM: “Let’s start off by introducing yourselves, who is the team behind Cardano Women?”

“First generation Panamanian American. Been in the space for under a year, working in various fields before then, ranging from USAF veteran to retail sales management and few other positions in between. A multifaceted woman- Muse, Dreamer, Entrepreneur.

“First generation Romanian American. Initially started in the Computer Science field, evolved into a designer on the blockchain, artist, and community builder. Experienced in merchandise, print, digital, web, and UI/UX design. Designer for The AdaCafe on twitter.
We also have an amazing team of TwitterSpace Co Hosts, Advisors & Social Media Assistants behind us & GROWING. Adding to our website soon, once we are able to gather together formally for photo ops.”
MoodyM: “What was your first experience in NFTs/Cardano?”
Cardano Women: “Learning blockchain at a time where I thought I was late in the game at first felt like defeat, but you don’t win if you don’t try. It was then thanks to the Twitter spaces, I was able to bounce around, listen and learn. Not long into the spaces, I found my community, a growing group of individuals eager to learn and equally hopeful to share their knowledge. Since then, we’ve been greatly received with support.”
MoodyM: “In your opinion, what is your favorite NFT project to be a part of right now in 2022?”

MoodyM: “Give us a brief backstory on the motivation going from collectors to project leads?”
Cardano Women: “In the beginning, we found this NY Times article estimating that women reportedly make up a mere 4–6% of investors in the blockchain space. Also I (AllyIllustrated) kept hearing/seeing this statistic: 17% of women on the block- but I only saw like 1%.
We envision a future where “inclusivity” is no longer a topic of discussion because women, girls, and minorities are equally present in every facet of Web3, real life, and every place humans congregate to make decisions.”
MoodyM: “What do you believe are some obstacles women face when trying to join the NFT space/how can the CNFT community help make the barrier for entry easier for those struggling?”
Cardano Women: “Lack of Education/ Awareness | A seemingly lack of representation | Online Fear

MoodyM: “What excites your team the most about the NFT space specifically on Cardano?”
Cardano Women: “Seeing our work have an actual impact/ having women come forward saying it was because of us they decided to join the blockchain or that we helped raise awareness of their work.”
MoodyM: “What is a piece of advice you would give to women striving to create a project on Cardano?”
Cardano Women: “You’re not alone; if not now then when? A variety of seemingly cliche quotes — but they are true.”
MoodyM: “Now we all wanna know.. what is Cardano Women doing next?”
“Cardano Women has been working on a fungible token since December 2021- first collecting a list of women lead/ involved stakepools (30+ so far with great hopes for it to grow). Shortly after we made for a hunt & found our artist @Earth2Sunrise to put together our vision; from imagination to actuality. She has since been onboarded to be our official artist for future iterations of the token & NFTs.
We’re also really proud to say that we’ve been working very closely with the Cardano community via DripDropz. For those that aren’t familiar, DripDropz provides token dispensing services to the Cardano community. An intuitive platform that offers projects a comprehensive selection of distribution parameters. To release these tokens via ISPO (initial stake pool offering).

As a formal conclusion, I would just like to spotlight the work they have put in to our space to make it such a welcoming and inviting environment for other women. Whether they are collectors or project creators, they have been a haven of education to our space and I am so happy to be a part of a community that is striving to become an open and all inclusive blockchain. A big shoutout to Cardano Women for being apart of Vol. 2 of “The Rotation” and the community behind them for helping spread creation and education across the cryptoverse. ❤
